I write about the inspiration that I have for creating and improving upon recipes that I stumble upon in my everyday life. I’m still working on the “creating” aspect of my cooking adventures, but friends, family and the Food Network provide me with enough wholesome recipes to keep my kitchen busy.

I’ve learned a lot about cooking from my family. My grandmother was from Greece and cooked everything from baklava to spanakopita with as much love and affection as she could muster. She taught my mom and aunt the intricacies of the foods of the Greek and Italian cultures, instilling in them a pride for home-cooked food that is unparalleled.

In addition to cooking in my own kitchen, I love trying new restaurants in the Boston area. My friends usually refer to me as their “walking Yelp guide” as I’m fairly knowledgeable about the local restaurant scene. Take me to dinner or lunch at a great restaurant and I’ll be yours for life 🙂
